You should remove links from private blog networks, links from high PR sources, links from spammy sites, low PR links which is not contextual, links from non-english site, etc.,
There is no free tools to do this. In my experience i can say the best way to do this is doing manually. You PM your website URL let me see how i can help you in this.

You can disavow links that are coming from known penalized areas like blog networks ect.

I have just managed to get 4 of my sites manual actions revoked, it was fairly simple however, you have to be ruthless in the disavow, but i will say until you can admit that in all probability that the links are self inflicted (well you are on a blackhat forum) then you will stand no chance of getting any manual action revoked. I have now helped around 50 people get their manual actions revoked and nearly all said it was a competitor that did it... Lol even buyers leave foot prints (sorry dude could not resist) http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...e-highest-submission-success.html#post4290959

The examples Google sent me which were PR4 site where an article had my domain keyword and a money keyword and they wanted that removed, in a million years I would not have thought that was a bad link, and i pay a monthly subscription for Link research tools and that see it as a good link.

I can now pretty much tell just by looking at a page what is good and what is not and the key to getting your rankings back is disavow and remove as much as possible, dont get sentimental to your links as if any were bought from here the chances are at some point they are going to become toxic and possibly damage your site

    Hello man,

I had same issue with lates update of Google and I had to find the links I had to disavow, there are some softwares that allow you to do this like LinkDetox but personally paying over 100$ for using software once for me was a bit too much so, I went to fiver and found this guy that does same service as software for 5$ tell david that codeman1234 recommend you his services:

    http://fiverr.com/davidb1/analyze-and-remove-unnatural-spam-backlinks-to-your-website

Give it a try the guy is fast and tells you exactly what you want to here, please keep in mind I am not seller of fiver or trying to give this guy marketing, I am just recommending wseo12 a service that worked for me with similar issue.

Thanks and I hope it helps!!

I started to use Linkquidator.com for the past 3 months and they did a great job for me so, based on my experience, I would recommend them.

Also, they have a free trial which is very good because you can get familiar with the service before paying for it. This was a must have for me, because almost all other backlinks checking services don't offer you a "test drive".

And, a great thing is that the guys at Linkquidator can give some pretty great discounts. Well, they know how to please a client.

If you need some more information regarding on how to remove bad links and how to lift a Google penalty you might want to read their free books about that they've shared on their thread on BHW: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/seo-link-building/594159-linkquidator-n1-bad-links-removal-service-remove-1000-bad-links-free-3.html

Hope this helped you somehow. ;)

First of all, do your own in-house cleansing. Join google webmaster stools and disavow all your dirty links. Give it 2 to 3 weeks and see if you're back.

If not, then head over to the marketplace and buy a cleansing service.

I definitely got a penalty on one of my sites, but it's not a manual penalty. Can I still disavow links and submit for reconsideration? I looked on my WMT and I couldn't find it, but I haven't spent much time there in the past. thnx

Just Do it manually, it's better ever than go for the tools. Or you can search market place for who can do this for you.

It should be much easier to remove these links considering how easy it is to get them - For $5 a competitor can add thousands of them.. kinda screwed up.

Before it been penalties, i subscribe SEO service from my local internet marketer, after a month my website rank drop badly. I try to build my backlink manually, but i failed. After i increase the rank keyword, it wont last long and drop back.
Did this problem related bad link or spammy link?

Sorry for my bad english. Thank you

Disavow all the bad links and do link building manually or buy some link building packages from the marketplace. There is a member of BHW known as Leith, he's offering link building packages with complete bad links removal service. You may also contact with him for better solution.

First thing we need identify the bad links. Some how it is quite difficult to find manually. By using tools like Detox you can easily identify the bad links. Also, make sure with Google webmaster tool for any warning message and removes the links manually.

    Thank you guys!
I already check my backlink with linkquidator, it seem that i got 27 backlink that connect to non-english website (not related at all). I've already go to google webmaster tool to disavow that bad link. Did i need to disavow it in bing webmaster also?
