Hey guys. I just recently bought a 5 wordpress website bundle (hosting from HG). They all have the same IP address and name servers :S ....

I plan on using two sites for the same niche (one affiliate site / blog and other for e-commerce)

Two sites for another niche (one to collect data / build list, another just as a blog which will eventually be monetized).

And the last one will be used for another separate niche (affiliate site / blog).

I plan to make a PBN of 5 sites for each niche that is hosted with different companies.

I bought this bundle on black friday thinking it was a good deal, not sure what IS and ISN'T a good deal yet lol!! Was this a bad idea? Before I go balls deep into this should I change it or will it be fine? These sites / blogs will not link to each other what soever.

Also, I registered this HG account using my personal name and company information (for tax purposes down the road). I wont be doing any crazy black hatting for my first run at this. I'm a newby internet marketer.

Your educated input is greatly appreciated!

Your 5 sites should be fine. As long as you are not trying to link them. Also if you are building links and they are different for each site then you should be fine

Thanks for your input. I plan on making these 5 sites my primary money sites for each niche. Is it OK to have my main money site registered in my name or should I use a pen name ?

Some disadvantages of hosting multiple websites on a single IP:

    1) If 'they' find one or your websites, they can easily find them all. They can be your competitors or even Google.
    2) If your IP gets blacklisted, all your websites will suffer from that if you send out (many) emails.
    3) If the shared IP gets DDoSed, the hosting company will nullroute (shut it off) temporarily and all your websites will be down for a considerable time.

You can check the IP and you will quite often find several or even hundreds of other sites on the same IP so I wouldn't worry too much. Try something like reverse ip lookup.
