Hi all - just wondering if anyone knows of a decent / cheap host that allows backup files to be stored - need to send a full cpanel server backup to it each day via FTP

so need at least 600gbs of space (a full backup is currently around 350gbs)

Currently using s3 but the transfer prices to download a full backup are getting pretty expensive (full daily download is around $30)

Was using bluehost for a while but they booted me out for excessive space usage

Thanks

thanks will check them out

What I would suggest you buy Kimsufi cheap dedicated server you will get lot of space to save your backup.

Note: For production hosting server don't use kimsufi but fore backup and all you can use kimsufi servers

R1soft is very good but expensive, now it depends on you how much you want to spend on backup

R1Soft is probably the best.

However as the above said, Expensive.

Storj.io will be soon available and that's cool (P2P cloud)

A few weeks ago I encountered vob.la and joined their beta program - a pretty descent service for backups. Though they have some limitations while in beta, it still is good.

According to your needs, I need to get dedicated server. I know that findmeaserver.com service is free and very helpful for those who need to compare various web hosts and choose the best dedicated server. Follow their twitter account here: twitter.com/findmeaserver

As others suggested, get a Kimsufi server and store your backup there. It would save you a lot of cost and can expand your size easily.

R1soft is the most trust worthy and mostly commonly used for backups
