I have close to 3000 backlinks for my site. Out of which the PRs are -

PR5 - 1 backlinks
PR4 - 5 backlinks
PR3 - 13 backlinks
PR2 - 28 backlinks
PR1 - 82 backlinks
PR0 - 82 backlinks
NA - Rest

My current PR for this site is 1. My site ranks on page 1 or 2 on Google for most of my keywords. Many keywords are in top 5 and competing against 10million - 100million pages

Can anyone tell me, why my PR is still so low. Google gives me about 60% of traffic and this site is making approx $2 a day from adsense.

I need to better my ranking and get more traffic. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

PR and rankings are completely different. You can have a PR7 and get outranked by a PR0. Focus on rankings and don't worry about the PR.

Thanks BHopkins. To make it more commercial in terms of advertising even if my site has high rankings, link and cpa sites look for PR's. It is just adsense for me now, but I am looking for additional monetization.

you can additionally monetize your site by adding amazon and clickbank products.

For your toolbar to still be pr1 then i would presume most of your links are poor quality.

It's stupid how advertising companies use pr as a metric.

Something you may not know, but you can actually fake your pr, im not sure how you do it though.

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/members/54209-navinb.html you are doing really Great..$2k per day really wow!! $2k is not less amount. This amount is the dream for CPA & Affiliate marketer. Can we see your site?
Thanks

I wish it was 2k :(

unfortunately it is just $2 a day and am stuck at PR1. Don't want to put shitty advertising on site as I have a good readership...

forget the Pr, remember the money.
that 's the true law.
you are wrong, if you work hard to rank your website up, monetize with affiliate programs and more, than you would see your result = money

you won't get any good result if you don't put some work into it.

IN THE END, HARD WORK PAYS OFF!
