Backlinks

Hi I have recently created a few blogs which I put alot of work into creating unique and useful content I have now come to a brick wall when it comes to link building I have submitted to loads of directories, social media sites such as twitter, facebook and used digg, stumbleupon, reddit etc and still these links are no showing up as even existing.

Can someone please guide me on how to build backlinks that are worthwhile.

How did u check these links? Was it on g00gle or thru yahoo?

For the records, g00gle only shows a sample of site's backlinks. Yahoo shows way more.

But an easy way of instantly knowing when g00gle spots ur backlinks is thru "g00gle alert' : You basically give g00gle an email to send u a notice when it spots: xyz
