I'm using grokbot for backlink registry, and i need some advice about sharpening the strategy to acquire those backlinks cause for now, he's struggling. I gave him a dedicated email inbox

Well depends. What kind of backlinks are you trying to acquire? I'm thinking this is going to be more like registry backlinks, like local businesses. I'm not sure you are able to place a successful link on guest post or niche edits links or digital PR kind of links without having to make some sort of payment or remuneration for you to acquire those links

yes that a local buisness mostly register to directiores like yelp etc

Bots can definitely help with prospecting and outreach, but too much automation can lead to spam issues, poor prospects and missed opportunities. They are best used for repetitive tasks, while the final site and placement decisions are handled manually.

automation is going to be the perfect option for directorie of prospects locally. please do not upload all the listings. see whether there is an NAP, category, duplicate, or indexing of the directory. clean listing are alway better than having a hundred of them that are just irrelevant.

Dedicated inbox is a good start. I’d focus more on better prospects and personalized outreach rather than blasting generic emails. Relevant sites + a clear reason for the link usually gets much better results.

Make a simple list of good directories first, then let the bot handle the repetitive submission work.

Grok struggles with automated link creation because most platforms have strict cloud/bot anti-spam defenses like re CAPTCHA and mail-loop checks. Auto-bots get accounts flagged instantly. Better to use it to scrape niche target URLs and draft outreach emails, then handle the actual logins manually.

as for local directories, imo, the bot will do all the hard work for you prospecting. but this does not mean that you have to dump everything on it. Inspect NAP, categories, duplication nd indexing of the directory. Imo, a couple of gud directories will be more useful than a dozen bad one.

Bots often underperform because webmasters receive hundreds of automated pitches daily. Ensure your dedicated inbox is properly warmed up first, or your emails will land in spam. Your initial template should read as genuinely human, so avoid requesting a link immediately.

Automation can be a great way to identify local directory opportunities at scale, but I wouldn’t recommend uploading every listing you find.

maybe the problem is the targeting, not the email. i’d give it a smaller list of very relevant sites instead of letting it contact too many random domains.

For local businesses, you can find good directories by searching for niche and location specific directories first. Check whether the directory is actually indexed, has real businesses listed, has relevant categories, and isn't filled with spam or duplicate listings.

Instead, focus on natural backlinks from relevant sites in your niche that you’ve earned through genuinely useful content or relationships.

grokbot's gonna struggle if you're not feeding it quality targets, just scrape relevant sites in your niche yourself first

I would be curious to know what problems exactly Grokbot faces perhaps there should be improvement in the selection of prospects and the process of reaching out to them rather than the separate inbox for it has anyone tried such system before?

It's just sometimes bringing in not relevant sites
