Backlinks, whos most accurate?

Hi all,

So I am checking my back links and I have different results all the time.

What you recommend for checking back links,

currently I use:

Moz open site explorer,
Google Web Master Tools,
MajesticSEO
Ahrefs

All of them have different results..

Also,

Do you recommend any software that speeds up the process of Google finding your new back links, ( I only have used pingomatic )

all of them are going to vary. Only the most accurate is google webmaster tools and I would not login to that, as it gives google too much info. I use ahrefs as it seems to detect more than majestic SEO. i don't use google webmaters tools.

the incredible indexer (just google it)

I use them for indexing. Get great results.

I find Open Site Explorer pretty accurate.

I'm pretty sure I usually see the most links in ahrefs. I always use them all though in case one or the other missed links.

OSE is pretty shitty IMO. If you have access to Ahrefs, you'll see that OSE doesn't pull as much data as Ahrefs

Right, Well I was using OSE for a while now but I agree, don't find it as much as accurate as AHREFS,

any recommended software for pings?

SEO Spyglass and Ahrefs works great for me, but I always use seo spyglass on my mac

In this moment I'm working with SEOCombine - is including AHREF and MOZ tools inside. They just made a thread on BST here you may take a look, are doing the same like many others tools - but they're a bit more stable

I'm surprised how many people are getting good results from MOZ and Open Site Explorer, for some reason it's never accurate at all for me. I've had more luck with the other ones mentioned in this thread.

mozcast is so great, it detected the hummingbird update 40 days after it happened. I used to be their customer long time ago, these days I've settled with majestic and ahrefs and I'm never going back.
