Backlinks white hat & black hat

What are the differences in white hat and black hat back?

I have read in this forum a lot about black hat back links and ratios to use them to my what hat back links. But I am unclear on which is black or white.
Curently I use articales original content spun for (30 sites with high PR), social networks (30 plus sites), video (20 plus sites), & thinking to trying some thing I read about in this forum about status sites.

Which of these would be considered black hat or white hat?

Both white hat and black hat are very subjective terms and the meaning of each will differ depending on who you're talking to.

I personally will go after links in any means possible as long I'm not sabotaging anyones business or doing anything illegal. Some will say that's black hat and some will say it's not.

None of the things you're doing are black hat. Some people might consider spinning articles to be black hat, though.

Again, it's hard to say what the best "white hat" strategies are your opinion of white hat could be different to mine.

We can define black hat and white hat linkbuilding with reference to Google's terms of service.

Blackhat linkbuilding is creating false impression of popularity, which will decieve Google into ranking you higher. This breaks their terms of service.

Almost all of the linkbuilding methods on this site are black hat. You are tricking google when you use them. Deception is black-hat, no matter how commonplace or inevitable it is.
