In fact, buying backlinks is not recommended by Google. So, don't get into trap LOL
However, always try to get backlinks from niche relevant high quality websites. Though it seems tough but having a few is a must to rank better.
After that, you will naturally get some odd links, if these seem bad/spam, just disavow those.

Go with power authority links. Get a few articles up on Yahoo News. Authority sites will boost you.
