Retailmenot.com is a popular online coupon site. Where users can submit coupons for various websites. I decided to take a look at their hompage rss feed @ http://feeds.feedburner.com/retailmenot-latest I did an exact query search on the latest coupon (via google) ex: "L.L. Bean Saturday, February 20, 2010 10:27 AM Get free shipping and handling" Not surprisingly many autoblogs and websites pick up one of the biggest coupon code sites. I then went in a wrote my own coupon with my URL and voilla backlinks from hundreds of sites. May not be quality backlinks. but in this case quantity aint bad.
What he is saying is that hundreds of autoblogs are using retailmenot to get their content. Then when he adds his own coupon these said autoblogs will add it on their site as well and he will get a backlink on all of the autoblogs.
What I was trying to ask, is where do you put the link, because I don't see a link in the site nor the RSS (but could be that I just didnt' find it)
the links seemed to be wrapped in flash (they are probably CSing any link they can recognize from their DB of affiliate sites) and use an outbound redirect from retailmenot. clicking on a feed link takes you to retailmenot. how are these links beneficial? (not being rude - just asking)
Retailmenot is one of the most reliable sources for me in coupons code, discounted coupons and promotional codes industry. They never scam you their support is really excellent.
