Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering how everyone goes about getting backlinks to their backlinks.

Do you guys create a few profiles for your backlinks, or social bookmark them etc?

Lets say I got around 1200 article backlinks I want to build backlinks for, whats the quickest way of doing this using something like sick submitter (no xrumer or scrapebox).

Potential methods:
-backlink energiser available in the forums although I haven't tested it yet.
-manually create several free blogs with a list of links in each, then hit some socialbookmark and forum profiles to each of these
-socialbookmark/profile blast each link

I know you can ping, and also RSS feed all the links and submit to many services, would RSS feeds be enough to get most counted and to stick, or would you still recommend also getting a few backlinks?

My only reason for asking is the time it'll take to create profiles for each backlink in sick, or socialbookmarks etc...

If anyone has advice, i'd appreciate it (and please no - go buy xrumer/scrapebox etc, I know they're recommended/good but I don't have them currently).

Thanks

I'm subscribing to the thread 'cause I was going to start a similar one ;)

Let the experts come and give their valuable advice :D

I really don't see the point to backlinking your backlinks. Why not have all those backlinks go to your main website?

Not all your backlinks will be indexed, or might be indexed now but may drop for whatever reason. Hitting your links with backlinks helps them get indexed in the first place so they count, and presumably in the long term they should stick as your have links pointing to the page where your link is listed.

My original post is true - I have alot of article links many of which are not indexed for whatever reason, these are spread among many article directories. I would like to get the majority of them indexed, but more than that, I want them to stick, and having read other posts on here and other forums, hitting them with backlinks is a good option - i'm just unsure of the best way to do this without spending too much time on it.

Beeeeeeecauseeeeee lets say you have 500 profile backlinks pointing directly to your website, that's good stuff. The only problem is that google doesn't really want to index them because they have almost no relevance to anything (no content on the page your link sits on). The best way to get google to notice these links is to point more backlinks at your backlinks.

Some backlinks, like the ones people spam their viagra/penis enlargement stuff on are really poor quality backlinks that you don't want pointing to your site. They tend to have high outbound links on them pointing to dodgy websites. This alerts google to the fact that your website is now loosely associated with these other websites.

Instead, you want to 'beef' up your legit backlinks with these dirty xrumer/scrapebox links. These links are automated and easy to get, so link juice etc. gets passed along because of the quantity.

xrumer/scrapebox links -> profile backlinks/web2.0/articles/pr articles/CLEAN BACKLINKS -> money site

Very safe stuff, also makes it so that if you are promoting a product and you piss someone off (say a competitor...) he can't report you to the advertiser for spamming, since no spam links point directly to your site this way.

Hi gurkoboy, thanks for your input.

For someone like me without scrapebox/xrumer, how many forum profiles or socialbook marks would you submit per backlink? 50,100,200, more?

With forum profile backlinks, you can add a link to another forum profile...

forum profile #1 has:

keyword1 + link
keyword2 + link
link to forum profile #2

forum profile #2 has:

keyword1 + link
keyword3 + link
link to forum profile #3

etc...

Mix it up though, don't turn it into a linkwheel, just keep daisy chaining forum profiles to alert google to the presence of other ones and give them some more juice. In answer to your question though: more is generally better. As many as you can, or feel comfortable with.
