I got a kind of "hard to answer" question and I hope some of you more "experienced" could help me a little bit out.

My question is whether or not backlinks from the same domain would help or not?

For example we always talk about c-class IPs, we setup blog networks in different c-class IPs because most of us believe and we've seen that backlinks from different C-class >> backlinks from same C-class.

And getting backlinks from the same domain would = to getting backlinks from the same c class ip. Not sure if there's a benefit to that.

For example let's say we had a site called www.dogtraining.com. And we are getting backlinks from e.g. blogspot.com web 2.0s.

There are different variations of this so there are more than 1 type of questions. Questions would be:

    1) We have setup 2 blogger blogs: blog1.blogspot.com, blog2.blogspot.com.
We backlink the same domain www.dogtraining.com with the same keyword "dog training" from the 2 blogger blogs. Now they are 2 different subdomains but still same ip AND we are targeting the same keyword. Would there be a benefit to this? Or useless? What about when you create 2 pages in blog1.blogspot.com and both pages backlink to our domain with the same keyword? Any use?

    2) The second scenario would be blog1.blogspot.com uses "dog training" as keyword but the second blog blog2.blogspot.com backlinks using another keyword like "dog training videos". So in this case it's a backlink from the same C-class but with different anchors. Is there any use of this? Or still useless?

    3) What about the other way round? This time we have 2 URLs to backlink to. 1 would be our homepage www.dogtraining.com, the second URL would be an inner page e.g. www.dogtraining.com/dog-training-videos.
Would there be any use if we backlink from the same c-class ip to 2 different URLs but that are on the same domain?

I know I may have made this sound complicated but I'm trying to figure out if it's useful to get backlinks from the same sites if it's for different keywords or for different pages of the same site.

IF anyone has "Tested" knowledge on this please share!!!

    Thank you very much.

I have experienced on web 2.0 sites. Last year, I've managed 20 sites, all of them are my clients site. I have 5 main keywords for each site with middle-high competition. I start build backlinks with only web 2.0 sites in the first tier. Note, I was build all web 2.0s manually/by hand using unique article in each post that passed copyscape. Each web 2.0 will have picture/video, different name of accounts, I only post 3 articles in each web 2.0, some time I only post 1 article. For the second tier, I used forum profiles, blog comments and social bookmarking. why only three kinds of backlinks in the second tier? Because I only use software that have low cost, no need a lot of captcha (it only for social bookmarking). I also use lindexed for pinging/indexing. I continue to do this every 2 weeks for 3 months. It seems that this way is work, some of my keywords start moving up. I decide to continue this technique for 13 months, All the keywords is on page 1-3 today even some of the keywords is on rank #5-#1. I break all of this 2 months ago, since I thought that I can't get all the keywords to rank #5-#1 by this technique and try with some high quality backlinks.

    Note:
I used home page and inner page, it only 5 URLs that optimized in each site
I used 100 proxy with different proxy each month.
I used less than 100 unique domain of web 2.0s
I used original articles and also articlebuilder.net then using TBS for re-write/spin to get passed copyscape
I used hundreds/thousand backlinks in the second tier
I used exact match match keyword, partial match keyword, long tail keyword for the second tier
It only 2 sites of "payday loan" niche that get google dance but not sand box.

1)Will only rise flags if most backlinks are from same IP, and it will be much unlikely. So yes 2 domains from same IP can and will benefit. If you have 100 domains pointing and linking to you from the same IP, I would be scared.

2)Blog1.blogspot.com and blog2.blogsport.com don't necessarly have to have same IP, and yes they would help no matter if they had or not. 2 Subdomains are 2 different domains.(see 1))

    3) Why would you wan't to rank 2 pages for the same keyphrase. Makes the work harder don't it.

    3) No I mean 2 pages but for different phrases that get the backlink from the same domain. Would that be beneficial?

Would be a footprint if you had 50 Web2.0 properties linking to 2 pages on your money site for example. Because look at News Papers, they rarely link to 2 different pages on the same domain.

Also lets say you blog.blogspot.com have 100 PR value to give. You make 1 link to moneysite.com and 1 link to moneysite.com/page

They will get 50 PR value each theoretically.

So I would stay at 1 link pr post... Mix in a few with 2 links etc...

So answer must be 3) Yes it would be beneficial but keep it at a limited amount of domains. But would just mean you split up the power the authority the domain might have, and split it up between 2 pages.

Is it dangerous if I put all web 2.0 in one account if I use other than blogspot?

Not like Google can detect it right?
