Fellow SEO experts.

How important is to get backlink to your images rathen your pages.
Do backlinks to your images really help ?

I have seen conflicted reports.

As you can see, i got some natural backlink to my images every single day. And i can see small ranking increase for the page where image located, but it's a really small increase compared with backlink directly to the pages. As i can say, 10-20 image backlink = 1 page backlink.

If you have an infographic on your site then it will be good to get the backlinks, getting backlinks to normal images on websites won't help much.

Backlink to the pages has more value than the image backlink. It doesn't have much impact.
