Considering bringing up a new site... is there any benefit to blasting the shit out of the domain name before its hosted?

that way as soon as you bring it up it has a ton of backlinks and impossible for google to sandbox you?

Not really sure about this

haha well im glad i posted this before wasting my time!

Thanks, appreciate it =)

They won't work, in fact they might harm your website because when google starts following links to your website which is not live, it will just assume it's dead and may stop crediting links altogether.

It's a theory based on earlier testing.

Those links won't be counted at all!

Google boot only count those backlinks are visible or direct to a physical address. as long ur site is not hosted it is not visible to it; but if you got lots of pre made backlinks then as soon as u will host it then at the links will be counted during the next update of google. therefore, I really don't think that they will be just wasted; but the main fact how much u delayed to host ur site. it you delay too much then lots of ur link may be losted.

that is really good to now cause i do have a couple of domains that I am still considering creating a site for, but just been too busy at this time to create and host them did wanted to do a couple of blast before hand, but now I I might about twice before doing it, thanks for the post.

What I think is that You can post the links before hosting, but make sure they indexed after your site is up. :o

Hm... I really doubt that. Your telling me that if you were to build some links to your site before it was up, then put up a dope ass site with good content, that google is going to ignore it?

Common sense tells me no

Good to know! Iv done this before. Going to savE my time now.

I ranked a site on the first page for a 10,000 exacts search with just a landing page and a link to my facebook.

So, it can be done
