Backlinks quiestion

Hi M8's Question for you.
My site is ranked 3rd and 4th on google for my main keyword.

According to Market Samurai

Mysite 1062 BLD 542 BLP
Competition 616 BLD 425 BLP

So my site is beating the competition.
However when I do

links:mysite.co.uk Result 2,820
links:competition.com Result 235,000

Not so good.

Why is there such a big diferrence between Market Samura and doing links:

Google, Yahoo, and all the SEO tools never give all the results.
If your ranking there dont stress about it. It is what it is.

As long as you are above his search results there is nothing to worry. If you look at most of the long tailed keyword, PR1 will beat PR4 and top the ranking..
