what do you think about backlinks that is not related to your niche, or even totally different language but from a good pr site ?

Backlinks not related to your niche?
Do you mean backlinks from sites not related to your niche? I think that is fine but a backlink where the anchor text is shoes and your site is about horses is a waste of your time and resources.
Backlinks in a different language as to the anchor text is, in my opinion, a waste as well. But a backlink on an English site with your anchor text in a non-English site has value... I know that for a fact.
