Hello,

I have a little question related to backlinks.
I'll show you an example:

Let's say I have a website: website.com and for example 4 anchors: anch1, anch2, anch3 and anch4

If other website, hmm.. let it be: otherweb.com have 4 backlinks to my website with different anchors will google count these anchors? I know that they count just 1 backlink per ip and there is no point of many backlinks on the same web page, but what about anchors, is it good to have few anchors on one website/IP?

Thanks.

You may get some additional benefit if they are going to multiple urls (yourwebisite.com & yourwebiste.com/somepage) but not a lot. While there is no harm in getting multiple links from the same site you are better off working on getting links from a many separate sites as possible.

I'm asking about anchors do it help to rank on search engine for these keywords, or I need unique ip/website for every keyword/anchor?

I have found that if you send them to different urls then there appears to be some benefit of having multiples. Not as good as different sites but more than if sending them to one url.

No addtional benefit
anchor text one ->yourdomain.com
anchor text two ->your domain.com

Some additional benefit

anchor text one->yourdomain.com
anchor text two -> yourdomain.com/somepage

From what I have seen if there are multiple links to the same url then Google just seems to pick one of them to count. If they go to two different urls even on the same domain then the second one does get counted.

The more links you have from a site/ip the less each one is worth. Past two or three is just a waste of time even if you have them going to different urls on your website.

Thanks for explaining it, seems I was doing it a bit wrong till now.
