Is a single backlink for $100-500 really better than 200-1000 backlinks from a service on here?

Price is only a part of the equation,
A $400 for example could get you a good expired domain to build a pbn website around,

You'll be asked the same price to publish an article in some fancy news website and it won't get you even 10% of the results as the previous one will,

Overall, both will do a better job than $1 pbn posts for sure, especially if you're investing into a long term project

In reality, what actually matters much is neither the price nor the number of backlinks but rather the actual quality of the individual links.

You might want to be specific.

200 to 1k backlinks all for the price of $100, would most likely give you power quality spam links, so may be comment backlinks.

I might be wrong, so you have to be specific.

Please provide an explanation on what a power-quality spam link is.
Is it beneficial for a website to have these links or would they negatively affect SEO?

You will find people here reselling 30$ links for 500$ so do your own research

I meant poor quality. It was a typo.

Quantity is usually the wiser choice if you can find a good web2.0 seller.

If your sole purpose is to rank keywords you should avoid any links forum comments, redirects, socials, directories, etc since they don't have as much keyword power as a web2.0 blog.

Those types are mainly used for diversification and authority.

The nice thing about quantity web2.0 links is that you can spread out multiple keywords.

Similar priced automated web2.0 Example:

Automated web2.0 backlinks spread out between 3 campaigns ($150)
Keyword Group #1: 125+ total backlinks
keyword Group #2: 125+ total backlinks
Keyword Group #3: 125+ total backlinks

V.S.

1-10 "high quality" pbn / guest posts links (Average $150):
Keyword Group #1: 1-10 backlinks


In the end, everything that is a blog or news is essentially a version of a web2.0 blog. The seller's blog overall authority and traffic won't dramatically help rank your keywords in comparison, but should help your overall site in general.

Find yourself a good web2.0 seller that uses high-quality AI articles and spinners which is going to be very important when dealing with automated links along with how the anchor texts are being used.

I don't really see much value in spending more than $100 on a single link or two unless it's from a big publisher that you know for sure will give you real referral traffic, not just robot clicks, but those will cost a lot more (basically a new age newspaper ad).


I guess it depends if you're looking for traffic or looking to rank keywords.
