I have created a blog that has a profile on facebook, twitter, instagram and pinterest. Every post I make on the blog, I publish it in the same way on every social network.

I have a question about this.

Isn't every post made on a social network supposed to become a backlink pointing to the website?

If I am not wrong, then why in this case when I analyze the blog with different tools (ahref, seo quake, rank math, etc) to see the amount of backlinks, it always appears with ZERO BACKLINKS?

The funny thing is that many of the publications I have made in social networks, are indexed in google and yet the backlinks to my site are zero.

I know that in this place there are many experts in backlinks and surely some will be able to give me an explanation.

Thanks in advance to those who can answer.

1) Yes it is a backlink and in general in do follow.
2) Quite simply because they certainly haven't crawled them yet. Ahref, seo quake, rank math, we don't care that won't help you. The only thing that matters is that it gets indexed in the search engines.

Ok thanks.

Well, my question is precisely because, although many of the publications in social networks are already indexed, they already appear in google, despite that, in the backlink search tools, the blog doesn't show a single one.

In other words, and if I understand correctly, the best thing is to wait for those backlinks to eventually appear?

Exactly. Just keep calm and drink a beer, they will be indexed.

for what it is worth: i have never see a twitter backlink in google search console or any other third party providers like ahref, etc. Pinterest and linkedin yes.
