At just 3 months old, your site’s still building trust that’s normal. One strong link can help, but real movement comes with time, consistent content, clean technical SEO, and gradual authority growth. Keep building naturally; age and quality links will kick in soon.

Your site's age matters for ranking. Newer domains go into SEO jail for 8 months or more. So patience is key here.

If you are a local business then get local links will be better than generic links.
 
If your competitors have 100 or thousands of links and you have very few compared to your competitors, then you must build links. If they have so much spam links then you can take the opportunity to build quality links only.

Also domain age matters a lot when it comes to ranking.
 
Totally normal for a 3-month-old site. The first link probably had better relevance or crawl rate the second one just didn’t hit as hard. At this stage, Google’s still testing your site. Focus on solid content, slow and steady link growth, and trust signals.

Your site’s still pretty new, so it’s normal for results to be slow. Keep building solid, relevant links and good content rankings usually start picking up after a few more months.
 
For a young site (3 months), this is normal. Quality links matter more than quantity - a few strong links beat hundreds of spammy ones. Focus on quality content, technical SEO, and natural link growth. Competitors with spammy links might be temporary. Time and patience are key to success.
