Hello, So i found some good websites that link to other high ranking websites in my niche on google.
so i thought i would give it a ago.

Problem is, the price is very high for one year on their front page, so my question is. Is it worth being 1 year on their frontpage linked with other high ranking google websites. Or not?

What i mean is , i dont want to waste money for a " 1 year " link to then lose all rank again afterwards...or will what will happen?

If your site cannot be profitable over the cost of those links, don't do it.

Think of those links as renting an office.

Who said the best part of webmasters/ecommerces is that they don't have fixed costs?

you will lose the ranking if - somehow - you manage to rank with that 1 link only. The point is that as soon as you stop paying, the SEO value provided by that link will go away after some time (could be days, could be months) because, presumably, the seller of that link takes it down if you don't keep paying

Also, if you can't afford spending that money then it's better to not do it at all as 1 link rarely amounts to any benefit for a new site and / or in tough niches. It's better that you walk your way to the top slowly by going the "free (but still valuable) links" route and / or focusing on long tail keywords + good content.

hmm ok...sounds like 50/50? and also i need to keep renting the link.... :(

I advise you to check the positions of those sites you are talking about there have a backlink. If they are at the top and bring traffic, it's worth it to buy a backlink there.
Check the DA and make sure the site does not have spam links.

You have to be profitable already, and just willing to boost your rep. Or you are willing to take risks on a niche you know with a great confidence it's going to grow enough to pay at least for that link! (something that you will really know BTW)

50/50 what ?!? Once you stop paying and google sees that the link is not there anymore you will lose the juice of that link in 100% of cases, it's not 50/50

And yes, good links cost money, sadly like with most good things in life. According to me everything in life should be free, but hey, I'm not making these rules sadly, or else everyone would be free and happy :)

I don't recommend renting backlinks from regular websites, those links ordinarily would have been permanent.

The only time you could accept such is wben you're going for PBN rental service, from a reliable owner.

ok, even if the website is getting alot of traffic and high DR? like i said i cheked their website, and i se that they are alread backlinking to very high ranking casinos on google. they are all on top google...

If it's a home page link on a good site with traffic that ties into your niche it's worth it. Loads of sites remove your guest posts after 12 months anyway.

I wouldn't risk it if they are site wide though.

i see , okay thanks for suggestion. its specific my niche, casino. I saw that it has Backlinks to top ranked casino affiliate sites in my country thats really between rank 3-8

depend on the page position and the niche must be similar to your content !

Backlinks can be either permanent or temporary. Permanent backlinks are links that will remain in place indefinitely, while temporary backlinks may be removed or replaced at any time.
