Backlinks not working

i had build upto 200 backlinks but they all are not working.. none of them are pointing to my website...

Are you doing it right ? How old is your site ?
 
Very odd harshaaliashcinna,

How did you go about building these links? Are you sure you configured them correctly? What websites did you put them on? As long as they are on legitimate sites and they are configured properly, they should be working. There is also a chance that (depending on how you built them) the websites you put them on stripped links out of comments or other snippets that you posted as UGC.

you might have not builded anything when there's no backlink to your site there.. or simply they died way too fast
 
It is very hard to suggest a solution to your problem without looking into the essential details. Could you please share a little more detail so we can evaluate what happened and what could be done next as solution?

i had build them in blogs and directories no other forums yet

this is my site... www.thegbay.com its about 2 months old...
 
Did you ping them to get them indexed? Try social bookmarks
 
When I first saw that name I thought it was an adult site, but it's a games site.
Have you pinged those tier 1 links. Maybe they are deep links to some forums and Google don't see them sometimes if you don't give them a hint (ping).
 
yesterday i had build and pinged 5k+ backlinks but also they are not working.
 
You have to build your links slowly, especially for a site that's only 2 months old. If you build links too fast, you will end up losing them after a month or so. I know this because it has happened to me. Try building consistent links daily, maybe 5 links a day from high quality high PR websites.

ill do it.. but thats not the problem i mentioned... there is none of them pointing my website..

Then that means there are no backlinks. When did you start to get backlinks? And what types are those backlinks? Comments? Web2.0s? Directories? Different Domains?

Backlinks are important, how many backlinks we will build if it is in to a low quality then the numbers you made could just be waste of time. The website with the most backlinks will rank highest in the search engines so every backlinks must be checked, if it is into quality you consider to have it hand-built and as we all know search engine hate low quality backlinks, spam type links and is really good in detecting websites who use them that 's according to a book I have read.

The book entitled Killer Link Building is my tool to get started with backlinks. I would also recommend if you can read this book to keep you updated to what is needed to get your backlinks get indexed. We must not forget that even if no-follow link is ignored and only do-follow links are the only acknowledged we should have links from both to make our links look natural.
