Backlinks not showing/working ?

Hey,
Maybe 2 days isnt enough for them to show? or im doing something wrong.
For the past 2days i've written quite a few comments in blogs with my link. so today i go to check with backlink checker and none of them are showing?
why is this? i've got like 3 .edu backlinks to and there not showing either

give them some time to be indexed, its not instant .. also if you are going to start creating backlinks to your site make sure you do a certain amount everyday, dont just do 10 one day and quit and expect to see a jump in the serps

after a week if they arent showing i would suggest maybe pinging the backlinks to get them indexed quicker

I believe that Google is going through some major changes in the way they're going to rank sites in the future, the data they'll use, how they'll gather the data, and how they'll analyze it. Google is the number one entity in the world when it comes to data bases and the technology around them, a sort of cyberpunkism demonstration that it is now companies and not countries with this type of power.

So until Google gets everything set up in the new format you're going to see a lot of strange behavior that does not reflect their past, now outdated, practices.
