I don't know what to say, I feel so dumb and weak. I want to piggyback up the rankings.

When I go to Backlink watch or one like it- It still doesn't show any back links.

Any help we be appreciated. I was accused in one other post that I am a leech. In an effort not to be a leech I am making another post called "Google Local Business Listings." Basic stuff but it will be my attempt at a contribution.

It's ok just to be here to learn. There is no requirement to contribute. I would recommend donating to the site if you can't contribute in other ways. Thats the most meaningful to give back if you truly feel you've benefitted from this community. This forum's chief export is SEO Gurus. Just read and read a lot. Then try. Then read. Then try. Then read. Just don't give up. Backlinks take time to appear for new sites. Just keep link building and know that good things come to those who wait.

Just keep building they will turn up eventually, it takes the search engines a while to index your backlinks sometimes.

First off make sure your links are actually there and have not been deleted. Second try searching for them using the username you used when you created the accounts, or a unique phrase from your articles if you are posting articles. Put the phrase or username in quotes when you search and the results will show you how many of those pages with your links have actually been indexed.
