Backlinks not right?

Okay, so over the last few days, I have been creating backlinks with GSA.
I have made about 1500 backlinks to a site and then 2500 to juice those 1500 up a bit. Also I have runned all of these through the GSA Indexer and indexed each backlink on 50+ pages.

The thing is, when I check my backlink count on ahrefs, it says I have 20 backlinks. 1 ********, 19 NoFollow.
In their description, it says that it updates every 15 minutes so this does not make any sense to me.

Can anybody answer some of this for me?

It may be due to settings you have in your Google Webmasters, just a thought.

If not then it's most likely the software.

Yes you've been indexing them to google.
Ahrefs has it's own crawler bots that crawl sites for backlinks. Not google. Sites.
It may take weeks.

You need to wait for them to crawl.

Yes i am agree with JonnyBorneo

ahrefs has it's own bot so just wait until they crawl your all the backlinks.

Its takes time to index links ,depends on the quality of links.Ahrefs has nothing to do with search engine.G will pick up your backlinks easily.

As some guys here mentioned, there are two types of backlink checkers:

- the ones that take backlink data from search engines;
- and those that take this data from search engine indexes.

Ahrefs belongs to the second group of backlink checkers, which means that the tool needs time to crawl the Web, and include all found links to their database.

It may take from some weeks to several months. So you just need to wait and keep building.

I'm not aware if Ahrefs has something similar.

Also be aware that GWMT only shows a 'sample' of your backlinks. You will never see all of them there.
Even if you don't see backlink results in a while don't worry, because rankings are affected faster.
