backlinks not getting indexed??

Something strange is happening, I have a site that I have been doing some backlinking but ZERO of my links are getting indexed.

I have done sb, web 2.0s and profile backlinks for the past week or so and im not getting thing indexed..

Anyone else having this problem? or do you know why I might be having this type of issue?

Im having the same problem... I've created over 40 backlinks so far for one of my pages, but only 3 have been indexed over the past week or so. I've tried creating rss feeds out of the backlinks and then submitting these to FeedAgg, however have had no luck.

I was speaking to a SEO friend today and he said googles recent algorithm changes have made it substantially more difficult to get links indexed. So not to sure what this will mean interms of my backlinking strategy now!

after last update its hard to index low value links, you need backlink them from high pr page

My experience is now that it isn't just the google algorythm that's changed but something far more fundamental that nobody has yet worked out. For example, b.h.w. backlinks today are:

bing: 11,900
yahoo: 749
google: 0

But b.h.w. has a google page rank of 4 and not the 0 you'd expect from 0 backlinks.

Go figure!
