Backlinks must be Permanent?

The main issue with removing (many) backlinks is that it tends to be a bad ranking signal for Google...
Why would someone delete a backlink ? Most of the time backlinks get deleted because they are linking to spammy sites or they are outdated...
You can use this to your advantage by the way by linking to your competitors and removing the links afterwards

Here's my question. If you're already upside down from your current strategy, why are you worried about losing rankings anyway? You should scrap all of those backlinks because you clearly aren't able to profit from them. Either give up on that site and start anew (maybe in a less competitive niche), or start from square one with a new strategy. Currently, you're losing money, so simply breaking even (by not renting and not earning) is already a step up.

becouase my backlinks are not permanent.ya,you are right.i gamble just for better ranking.because i know if i get position 2 (from postion 6) in one phrase , all things will become OK.now ,after 8 month, i could not.

Deal is if you are renting the links then when you stop paying
for them they will remove them and your site will fall like a
terd hitting porcelain.
Also if you are paying more out on links than you are making
then something is wrong with your traffic or offers. Maybe you
are paying to much for links in the first place.
