Hi, I am a newbie in SEO industry,

    I have one question:
Backlink must be coded? i.e. backlink must be clickable ?

I've stumble across one webmaster articles directory, many people leave their website in comment. Due to site's system, these links are not clickable e.g. www .aaa. com (in fact, no spaces between them ) it is just a common text.

And then I go to google hit link:www.aaa.com, I found out the page they leave their website count as a backlink .

Maybe I am stupid, if no, so who cares of nofollow attribute.

P.S. sorry for my poor English, hope you get the point.
