I read lots of stuff that suggests I get 2 or 3 good backlinks from PR5 - PR8 sites per day.
But ... what are these PR5 - PR8 sites?
Are we talking about blogs and/or forums? If so, it's fairly easy (I guess) to dig out two or three new ones every day.
But if the "get 2 or 3 new links per day" advice is not about blog/forums, what and where are these high-ranking sites that I'm supposed to get backlinks from.
Directories are always a possibility, but (in my opinion) a desperate one. Matt Cutts has said on several occasions that Google credits little or no value to this approach.
So, what exactly is a sustainable link-building strategy that will yield worthwhile results.
Any feedback appreciated.
