I'm wondering if somebody could help me out. I'm kinda new to SEO. I've done a lot of research but can't seem to figure out what's wrong. I made a bunch of Web 2.0 backlinks recently. They're all done by hand with 100% unique nonspun content hand written for each site. They're all indexed but they don't seem to be counting as backlinks. They don't show up on when I search my URL or on webmaster tools/any other backlink finding tool. My website has been slowly dropping in ranking. It's been over a week now. Should I just give it more time? I've pinged the sites/RSS feeds and all that stuff. Like I said they're indexed but don't seem to be helping. I've made sure all the sites are do-follow as well. Thanks.

pm me, I can give you some advise, if your ranking is dropping there is a reason.
I'll need your url. ok.

You should take of proper site for quality backlink which will be counted and also will give good result. just see backlinksindexer and use its service.

Don't rely on backlink counters as they are very inaccurate. Having said that, Majestic SEO's fresh index and a site called ahrefs.com can give you a good picture of your recent backlinking activity. At least an idea.

i am having similar issus, backlnks indexed but not counting.... what this means?

its happening because webmaster or other tools take some time to give you the result. its not a matter of worry dude. just wait for a while.

I'm having this exact issue - wrote several articles and built several microsites on web 2.0 services. After a month of original publication and additional posting/page building, (and using pingomatic after updates), Google has indexed the sites, but checks to Majestic, GWT, and OSE are showing 0 backlinks to the linked page. What am I missing? Is a month too short a wait?

OP, just keep building and building. Backlinks count is messed up with a reason nowadays, so don't loose your time on trying to see if G knows about your backlinks - yes he knows about them for sure

Does the links indexed or the content got indexed.. If just links got indexed then no use. If the articles indexed then try to check in ahrefs.

Hello Hmmm! provide the details what you want to share with all.. This is not an individual forum bro :) Help everyone. :)

Sometime it takes time to index and rankings, Important main factor in current Google algorithm is DRIP FEED, Limit your backlinks that building per day,

15 backlinks enough per day :)
15 X 7 = 105 backlinks

The best recommendation for you is to check backlinks from ahref.com which provide exact statistics of the backlinks even newly created or lost. This is totally free and batter than many backlinks counter or indexer tools.
