It depends. 1 backlink fine 10k backlinks not fine.
Also, how old is your site, what authority does it have?

If it's high quality, you shouldn't have a problem, if it's low quality, maybe but a very slim chance of anything happening.

Indexing too many backlinks will be a problem. If you are indexing lesser amount of backlinks it would be fine. Better if you dont do it manually and let them index normally

If your backlink is bad, obviously it will penalized by google. It won't happen Unless until your backlinks and contents are good.

If the links are cheap and irrelevant, then it will be a problem

But based on the quantity of the links you are building

Always prefer quality and relevant backlinks

How many backlinks are we talking about here? What about their quality? The higher the quality and the lower the number of backlinks, the less of a problem you’re likely to have due to them indexing fast. There is no exact rule, though.

Search engines index the posts based on quality, so you should be aware of while building it. Else it may harm your site later. Don't make manual indexing in my suggestion.
