Backlinks help

Hello!

I was inspired by meathead's thread and started an amazon affiliate site in the music niche, I've bought a premium theme, created a foothold for my site on all major social sites, wrote an about us page and I outsourced my main pillar article that is 2500 words. When I've that, should I start posting reviews of products in my niche? Lets just assume I've a site about guitars, should I post articles about like "what's the difference between guitar x and guitar y" or should I immediately start with product reviews? And how do I build backlinks for my site? I'm a total noob in SEO but I'm learning more every day. And no I don't like to follow a method fully like kt is, I rather give it my own twist!

As for the other questions, try checking the journeys section and find someone who is following meathead's guide. They usually post details about what they're doing there.
