Sharing to places like blogs, websites, and social media is the only legitimate way to create back links. NEVER pay for backlinks. SEO is a serious thing, especially with google. If they find out you did it they they de list you and you need to start back from square one AFTER you get rid of your purchased back links. Not worth it.
If share a video to social include a short link to go to YouTube because each one has a browser extension that will not log plays to YouTube. If you make more professional stuff, linking it to a blog you or a friend manages to their audience will get you a lot of plays. If you have a website, link to that too. Each link to a different place counts as one. So a share to FB, Tw, Web, and blog counts as 4. If they share it, it double, so don't forget to promote.
