Backlinks from within my own site good/bad

OK i was thinking about this, on my site most of the pages are dynamically created. On the dynamically created pages, let's say one is for brandx toothpaste, from within that page i dynamically create the pages depending on which of the different types of toothpaste they make. Anyway within those pages there is more or less a generic overview of the main brand itself. So now i'm curious for keyword searching in the overview is it good or bad practice to create h1, h2, h3 with the keywords linked back to the main toothpaste page?

Make sure you're not keyword stuffing your pages. This can especially become a problem when you not only have a high keyword density, but also have the keywords in multiple h tags. The penalties you get for this are generally considered "overoptimization" penalties, and makes it all that much worse if 100% of your external links to that page are all with the same keywords.

Interlinking between your own pages in content is beneficial (aside from your navigation menu). It is also beneficial if it isn't a sitewide link (in other words, if your site is 50 pages, one page gets linked in content from 5 to 10 other pages that are most related).

that is why i am up in the air about this. In one aspect I can see it being helpful because it would add a moderate amount of links back to that page and rightfully so. However on the other hand i can see google looking at it like they did tags on blogsites. I guess i'm still up in the air about it. Any other ideas are more than welcome.
