I am about to start using shoping engines to promote my products. (EX: Nextag, Shopping.com, Shopzilla, PriceGrabber) The purpose of using these sites is obviously to increase sales directly through the sites. All of these sites are very high authority. All of the above sites are PR 5 and above (PriceGrabber is PR7).

When I add my products to thoes sites I will get a link to my product page. My question is will these links have any affect on my SEO/google rankings?

That is also my question. I have been doing this for about a week and my friend said that it can help you get backlinks, but I'm not sure though. The only thing i'm sure is that it can increase sales, which is really what I wanted in the first place.

I know this is an appropriate thing to do, but do you know websites like Wanelo and Svpply where we can put our products?

I highly doubt it. I don't think they will be actual links (probably redirects which don't pass link juice). and if they are, I doubt they will be dof0ll0w. These are mostly good for driving traffic, and getting traffic sources independent from Google which I think should be even better than getting higher rankings

I agree that is exactly why I am doing it in the first place. I was just unsure if it would have any SEO benefits or not.

Thank you for the reply
