Backlinks from Ezinearticles not appearing!

Despite I have thousand of articles approved and in good shape in several Platinum accounts at EZ, when I check my backlinks with backlinkwatch/SB/Seo Elite or other applications, very few of my Ez backlinks appear!

All this despite in the last months I was pumping my Ez articles with scrapebox comments!

Was all that hard job in vane?
Does it happen 2U too?
Is submitting articles worth my time or just a waste of time for backlinks sake?

The same goes for Goarticles...

I've not noticed that although Yahoo is very slow these days at updating links and I'm not so sure it's at all accurate anymore. I only use it as a crude guide.

I take it the Ezine articles are indexed?

One thing you can count on that anything you post on EZA will be indexed in google instantly,u have to do absolutely nothing.Check for your links in webmaster tools,ezine will be there for sure.You shouldn't take EZA as a bcaklink source,there's only two place you will get a lot of targeted traffic from,one being the EZA and other one is squidoo .Every other property u build should only be for backlinks.

I have never in my life seen a backlink from Go Articles, I have seen Ezine though.

Maybe try backlinking the articles

Backlinking the articles could help but based on experience its all about position of your backlinks.
When you include the backlinks in either the top or bottom of the article they are more likely to be found by google. I had little luck when I threw backlinks in the middle of the article.

So, google ignores every link in the middle?

Not every link but they do ignore most of them.

EZA allows do-follow links 'only' in the author resource box. Your links placed elsewhere is waste of your time.

I submit in ezine articles for targeted visitors for my site although I do get back links also but that is not my primary concern...

If your articles are indexed which should be in normal situation then nothing is missing... You can check in webmaster tool and will find back links from ezine pointing to your main site... I have from them and also from goarticles or any other article directory...

Interesting thread...i have question - what tool should i use for checking backlinks for articles? I cant use google webmaster tool and Yahoo site explorer seems to be incredibly slow in counting for me...
