Backlinks from Drupal sites???

Guys I've noticed that some high ranked sites getting many backlinks from blogs that uses Drupal I think.

for example this site:

If you see all the pages in yahoo explorer u will notice there are much more sites already spammed.

But the weird thing is that they have more then 1 backlink from 1 site.

It is kind of impossible that they are spamming manually and Im really wondering what software are they using for drupal spamming.

I am sure they are not using xrumer something because the owner of the site does not know how to use xrumer very well.

So what do you think guys?

I would like to know what kind of software they are using to post comments on Drupal websites... Anyone got a clue ?

I bought Scrapebox like 2 months ago but I must admit I'm a total noob at posting on drupal websites... Don't you need to create accounts in order to post on sites using this CMS ?

How does Scrapebox bypass this ? Can you explain ?

I know you can harvest url's containing a certain search string (in our case something like "login or register" inurl:node) thus making a list with Drupal Url's but what happens next ?

your right you must login for a lot, but also theres a lot that dont need login.
If you can come up with a good footprint to find drupal blogs, I find that roughly 5-10 out of every 100 I scrape ends up allowing me to drop a comment without logging in. (doesnt sound like a lot but they should almost all be do follow) so after I've got 1000 unique urls to post on I usually end up with between 50-100 do follow autoapproves

Check out the recent changelog for Scrapebox, it tells you that it now supports answering the maths question in many drupal sites. This should give you a good footprint.
 
Ha, you guys just need to add a little magic to your scrapebox search like -"login to post comments" or something (dont remember the exact phrase off the top of my head). BUT alot of the auto posting stuff doesnt work because of mollom.

Thats why I use a tool called india... they post well :)
 
Here's the Drupal breakdown for everyone.

Drupal allows for mollom which will catch spamming http://mollom.com/

It's as ez as installing a plugin, signing up for a free account on mollom, and activating it in drupal.

In drupal you can make it so comments and posts can be anonymous or logged in or moderated.

So depending on the site, it could be any of a multitude of combinations.

With that being said, you can use scrapebox to spam drupal sites if site is configured for anon posting. Something like XRumer if an account is needed. If Mollom is activated, yer pretty much screwed.

The reason I was asking is that I have seen a lot of drupal blogs overrun with comment spam and they needed a login ! It might have been embedded after... but I cannot confirm this. Either way here's a cool trick you can use on drupal blogs:

when posting links add the rel="follow" attribute to your link so that:

<a href="http://www.site.com">site's anchor</a> becomes

<a rel="follow" href="http://www.site.com">site's anchor</a>

This will overwrite the nofollow attribute (actually you will see both in the code) but Searchstatus for example reads this link as being a regular one (not a nofollow one). Any thoughts on this would be highly appreciated !

It doesn't matter what you override the "rel" tag with. Hell you can put "rel="buttsex" for all they care. Google WILL ONLY READ the nofollow part of the tag. Basically it useless to add any type of rel tag as all it does is fool the plugins that search for ****************/nofollow links.

use scrape box to scrape drupal blogs. get the list and Outsource the work.
 
i have very low success rate in posting to drupal blogs, do you know any good footprint to find good ones
 
its "Post new comment" for anonymous user however I turned my comments on for a week and got spammed with cialis posts. So I had to turn off anonymous.
