It will be worth it %100 as youtube can get very high rankings on google for many keywords.

I'm uploading many videos (super high quality), so I thought about buying simple 5$ backlink packages for every video I upload. But maybe that's suspicious... I really don't wanna risk my account, so should I rather invest in a few high quality guest posts maybe ?

Look into creating 301 redirects for the spammier low quality links

So I have to upload 2 videos with same title/ description on the same channel and build links to one of them for testing?
As I mentioned the only thing I worry about is that my channel could get penalized in any way...

Many people use shortners, and some social channels automatically create them, so it doesn't look suspicious when you see it. Word of warning - balance out your backlinks, you don't JUST want 301s or PBNs.
The best you get are embeds on blog pages, so look for more than just backlinks when you're out there hunting...

You can rank videos with backlinks to get on the top of Google.It won't harm your channel because YouTube is a parasite(A authority domain loved by Google) the only thing you worried about is getting flagged by competition.Just build quality links instead of spam.The only downside it doesn't work every time because Google blocks YouTube videos in certain niches from getting on first page on Google.

Of course, it is one of the factors you should consider. Build quality backlinks as well optimizing your videos for search and your audience.

Well Youtube is appearing everywhere - on Google searches (there's a video column which lists a lot of YT videos, or videos from other video sharing sites). So building links to the YT page can help you increase your ranking for specific keyword searched on Google, for a specific video, etc. Previously YT was an authority site on Google, whereby most searches would point to a YT column, but they have since adjusted that. Nevertheless, if you are able to point quality links to the YT video page, that should increase the SERP for that video on Google.

Pretty much all SMM channels are worth it. YT has really large userbase as well, so I totally recommend to gather backlinks there.

Yes, This is worthy.
