sorry guys .. if I want to rank an article I need to buy backlinks for the article URL or just my Domain name ... if someone can clarify things to me, please!

If you're wanting a specific article to rank, send the backlinks to that article URL. But, it will look fishy if one article has 1000 backlinks and your main domain has 0 backlinks.
You need to have a few things:
- Link diversity (different types of links)
- Anchor text diversity. (Different anchor text in your backlinks).
