Backlinks country dependent?

If I buy backlinks for a keyword and does it have different effect for different geographic area? Like if the website( actually business) is Canada based so will it have different ranking on USA or another country search results?

Most likely its effect on different geographic area.like you got the traffic from asia or africa then it should be different rank for your website.

Yeah, Always you can see the difference in ranking, when you are searching from different countries. Noting to wonder.
Example in Canada your actual rank will be 10th pos then in the U.S it will be 15th or 20th pos.

It all depends on the context.

For example, if you want to rank on Google Canada, then getting backlinks from Canadian sites is going to be far more helpful than getting links from Australian websites.

The closer it is to your niche, the better

Sometimes you have US websites sharing Canadian content or related to canada. You can go with those as Google is familiar with their territories.
