Is there a way to calculate how many backlinks and what DR would you need to rank on certain keywords?

you just check the URLs ranking on google's 1st page, with a tool like Ahrefs, and if those URLs have no backlinks then - in theory - you could outrank them with just 1 backlink. But in theory only, because realistically there are more factors that decide who ranks where. But if you find a keyword with low search volume and for which Ahrefs shows that most of the competition has no backlinks, go for it! It's usually an easy keyword
And do not concern yourself with DR. It's just a 3rd party metric that only tells a small part of the story

DO not get fooled by this ahref metric. It can be easily manipulate. Do the self research and do not depend on the third party tools 100%.
