Simple question; what happens if you build all your back links before google has indexed your site? Can you get away with building massive links fast then?

LOL, I was thinking this same exact thing today. I'm still waiting till my new site gets indexed.

You can never build ALL your backlinks because it should be an ongoing process..But there is nothing wrong with builing a few before you get indexed.

Actually this will help you get index faster. But beware..

If you build to many too soon and they get index before your site actually does BIG G will haul ass on your site.

i have a website with no content and do backlink.. after that i got PR 2 for that domain..

it is ok to do that

The whole idea is to look NATURAL, so just dont go nuts with the back links and roll them out in a steady pace and you should be ok.

To be on the safe side , just do a few "preliminary" backlinks using high PR sites.

According to Google Backlinks are given by sites if your content is useful but if an unindexed site gets a lot of Backlinks then it may look suspicious.

I would say that its better to get indexed first.

Its quite easy to get indexed so do that before building links.

I am not sure why having a lot of backlinks out there is a bad thing any time regardless of how fast you made them.

Google already will take close to one month to index your main site unless you ping it and bookmark it. They surely aren't going to index hundreds of backlinks at once either. They will come in steady as the spider's crawl.

Well mate as i told you -

Some backlinks are okay but if you are planing to get a hell lot of backlinks, then your site will be penalized!

If a website were to go viral, it would be theoretically possible for webmasters to find it and link to it by some other means than finding it on Google.

Therefore, technically, backlinks before google indexing will not hurt you - IF you follow through after indexing with a consistent backlink accrual rate that will not arouse suspicion.

I think it is not the safe way to go. Lot of new sites are sandboxed because of this. A website can go viral but in that case must have a proper content. I don't recommend it.
