backlinks attack - Post Penguin strategy

With all the talk about backlink penalisation of big G when you blast "lousy" links to money site, why couldn't I just blast the lousy links to position 1 of my keyword, assuming I am number 2, so that big G deindex my competitor once and for all. So the strategy becomes, instead of the hectic jobs of tier 1,2,3 , I just blast my competitors and roast them alive. And I will use specifically all those links techniques that Big G specifically hates to artfically build links and hope for a deindex in future.

Any thoughts for the above?

You should call it something snazzy like "Negative SEO" and sell the service on Fiverr.

You aren't going to get any supporters of that technique here

just try to imagine it doing someone on your site and go to search for other methods

The effort you put into hurting other sites, could be used to improve your own site. Don't see the point in negative SEO. Imagine it being done to you, how would you feel?

before i get flammed up like a roast duck, i just want to clarify that Im not using this technique, im a newbie, I dun even know how to do a backlink blasts using those software.

That said, I know that the virtual world is never a fair game. Simply put, it's just trying to reverse engineer what google ranks high and then do those things to rank higher. Even simply put, it is to rank higher than your competition so that you can money.

So I was just curious, with all those careful attempts at creating super link structures, which you need

1) a tonne of effort
2) continuous education on the lastest update from google
3) risks of a wipe out or being pushed several floors down with the next update

isnt it easier to just kill competition with backlink blasts? since (this is what i read so far)

1) with a software, you can automate blasts like thousands of backlinks or comments
2) you guys already know that the deindex is lethal, and those blasts is almost a surefire

Then comes the ultimate question, which i hope do not happen.
Will Panda and Penguin gives rise to a team of websites gunners that gun down and de-index competition and offer their services for sale?

Why not get a good quality backlink and outrank your competitor like that?

Seriously for all the effort required - just get on with ranking your own sites. Once you figure out how to rank in your vertical you can produce effective results each time. With neg-SEO you don't have the comfort of having all the site data that's crucial to staying at the top. You're seriously better off effecting your own rankings with whichever color hat your choose or mixture.

It can work under very specific circumstances, all of which are way too difficult to diagnose unless your an old salty sea dog of the SEO world.

Even then you would have to be a cynical old bastard to want to do it imho!

I get frequent emails asking to remove all links to xyz.com... All obvious cynical attempts to devalue a competitor site. They are also very crudely worded, obviously outsourced trash at that, gives you a good idea on the types of people who think these techniques are worth it.

And i bet they ordered it on Fiverr!

LMAO - don't mean to pick on the guy but your response just made me laugh out loud. The sad part of this story is that google's algo is f**cked up enough where that is a viable option. smh.

Logically, it makes sense.
It all comes down to personal ethics at the end of the day, but I don't see why it wouldn't work especially in a lower competition niche

@OP, if what you posted were true for every niche, then everyone would be millionaires.

I've often read that negative seo does not really work. If you try to send a million spammy backlinks to a youtube video, their ranking is likely to increase, not decrease, and it's the same for many established sites.

Chances are you dont have a clue about how to blast your competitors out of rankings.

But you really shouldnt hurt other people's SEO, would you want that to happen to you?
