backlinks are going down?

I have seen my sites fluctuate on the backlink count many times. Sometimes programs or web applications feed out different data or some go missing momentarily. Over the course of a few days, I have seen one of my sites jump around between 30 to 70 backlinks. May I ask what you are using to check your backlinks?

I am using backlinkwatch and yahoo site explorer
Quality backlink, quality content...
well, if tomorrow you have 50 backlinks, and today you only have 30. i'd say it would be possible by gaining 20 additional banklinks.
the more important question is, how can you tell the future, and will you JV on a stock market investment venture with me?

It does fluctuate quiet a bit.
I have a site that has 28K one day and then it goes up to 32K.
It probably has something to do with the new algorithms at least with Google.
I think your links will come back at some point.
