Backlinks 101

I'll make it simple... It probably is a total noob question but I need to be certain.
If you have 100 backlinks to your website and none of them are indexed, is there any way it will influence your ranks on SERP?

To me, it's a huge no... but according to some sellers on BHW, I am wrong.

Maybe....

Most likely they are garbage links or garbage content and will not count for anything. The reason I say maybe is because I have backlinks in my GSC from no index pages. It goes to show that just because the page doesn't indexed it wasn't crawled and the link counted.

But 99.999% of the time if Google doesn't index it, it's pretty worthless.

Fair enough. But none of them shows on the GSC... So i just feel like i'm in the 99.999% you mentionned
