Backlinking - which engines are most important for Tier1?

Currently using Rankerx - noticed that a lot of the built-in diagrams only have Web2.0 Blog as the tier1 engine.
A limit no of diagrams have Bookmarking & Profile as tier1 engine.

If I were to construct a diagram for a high competition keyword moneysite:
which engines should be for tier1?
which engines should be for tier2?
which engines must not be for tier1?

I also noticed that Ranker does not have blog comments, url shorteners, directory etc. Is it because these are not good for tier1 to point to moneysite?

btw, 'articles' & 'web2.0 blog' - are they the same thing when we talk about backlinking?

Web2.0 ≠ articles. Different engines. For tier1 use only clean stuff—web2s, articles on decent dirs, maybe socials. No bookmarks or profiles there. Push those to tier2. Blog comments, dirs, shorteners = tier3 or skip. RankerX probs avoids them for that reason.

Use it only for tier 2 and tier 3.

Tumblr, Wordpress, Weebly are good for T1. Sometimes use Reddit too, but carefully.
