Kind of a newbie question but...

When you build backlinks to your web 2.0 properties, do you link to the homepage or to the specific posts within your properties?

For example say you write a post called "how to make money through blogs" and your Wordpress.com site is about making money online.

When you article blast, comment blast, etc. - should you link to that "make money through blogs" article or to the homepage of your wordpress.com site?

A Company may be created in Cyprus as a legal entity by being registered under the provisions of the Companies Law, CAP 113. The Companies Law is based on English Law,, but several amendments have been made due to Cyprus accession to the EU

Did you read the thread. This post has nothing to do with Cyprus.

Sorry I didn't make that more clear...

So say you have money site. 6 web 2.0 properties that link to that money site. And you plan on blasting those web 2.0 properties...

When you blast to the web 2.0's (for say a blogger, wordpress, livejournal type of sites) would you link out the main page (examplesite.worpress.com) or a specific post (examplesite.wordpress.com/examplepost)

to be frank try both option of linking here. trust me you will get to know when time goes on. attempting different types of link building is key to the good search engine optimisation.

I myself will take my links from my 2.0 sites (both main and post), articles, even bookmarks and edu links. Put them in a notepad and make sure that all links are based on the same keyword or domain and use scrapebox to blast to those links giving them more juice. Seems to be like a cushion so while your getting some links to your main site through the original set your also pushing the other links as well which in turn all comes back to your main site!

Thank you for explaining it that way. I have been working my way through Scrapebox and feeling more than a little intimidated. I have been confused and uncertain about the links to put in my website.txt file.
