Backlinking strategy that works for you?

So theres so many strategy out there right now im sticking to this methodology:

build new links to new posts only

I'm wondering if any of you concentrate on one link just to get that keyword ranked or do both ie build links to older post and newer post. If you have a different strat that works for you please suggest some.

My website is 9 months old now but only rank in 300 keywords and get about 100 traffic(according to ahrefs but I get 100 unique viewers per day according to a wp plugin). I'm not sure if im doing it right or wrong.

Don't forget to link to your root domain as well, as it positively impacts ranking on all the pages of the website.

for me, i always use pbn and tier links for rank my keywords
what im doing is put backlinks 50:50, for homepage and for keywords that already get rank well, or keywords already on page 2 or page 3
this working really well for me, after that, all the other keywords also went up by themselves

home page links 30% brand anchor text ration, inner pages, tier links to keyword page(web 2.0, article, guest post, forum(relevant only) diversify-tier 2), c'mon what else you need...
but I have a question, can I link back to home page and inner page from same domain or even from same web page?
 
Most of them over-optimize their money keywords in their backlinking strategy. using brand keywords, generic keyword, and Naked URL for the link campaign is also very important and target URL should be both links to homepage, links to inner page, just mix it up as it will look more natural to google
 
Homepage PBN links and niche edit are the best. They are the most expensive links too...
 
I tend to only get backlinks that reflect either naked URLs, Brand Name, or Money Text (Anchors).
I get good diversity packages from sellers here that point to my homepage to push link juice to everything and they help push multiple keywords and LSI and Long Tail Keywords
So far I'm trying to get this number down but my money text is 50:50 with the rest of the links going to my site - trying to get it to around 33% or so.

If I'm trying to rank specific pages, I stick to Niche edits and Guest posts. (I know PBNs work well, I just made a decision to stay away from them in general)
I usually get these pointed back to my page using Brand Name, Naked URL, or Money Text.
 
I forgot who it was, but a guy said as soon as he put majority of links to homepage, every page went up.

Sorry, I didn't get it....

By the way, 6 months ago, I blasted a page ranking on position 10 with 2 or 3 millions comments with 1 exact keyword anchor and... It has been ranking #1 since then!!

That's why I thought that old spammy techniques like your joke could at the end of the day be... Real and serious.
 
Mixed of with some quality PBN & Authority guest post, You'll get some good amount of Link juice.
 
PBN and guest post works, build links to both homepage and inner pages.
 
Go with Guest Post and PBN to home page links and inner page links.
 
Linkbait articles designed to pick up organic links.
