I am working on getting my links out with partners but mostly looking after real site owners.
I have been doing in the past mass directory ,and to be honest haven't gotten much traffic of targeted interested people via these mass directories.
I know it helps with rankings but seems to me focusing on direct-link exchange with fewer more specialized site owners, actually will work better for me. My site is offering online services worldwide.
