@MisterXYZ was pulling on you, here's my take on it (just my honest observation and opinion):
BHW has been around for about 14 years now .... with thousands (literally) of posts daily for the vast majority of that time.. there is not much that can be said that hasn't been said in one fashion or another at some point in the past.
It is highly frowned upon to comment on any thread that is more than a couple months old... people here get a lot more uppity about that than they do about making a thread on a similar topic.
Therefore it stands to reason that it's perfectly ok and reasonable - even helpful (considering it would help the information get in front of more interested eyeballs than if it were left as something you have to search for and never showed up in the lastest activity thread again) for you to have created a new thread providing this reasource - and the comments above serve as evidence that this post was helpful to som noobs....
Furthermore, just because a thread has been made before, doesn't mean the information is 100% the same - domain metrics raise and lower, sites change policies and sometimes make external links nofollow or implement noindex tag policies or certain types of pages out of the blue to combat spam - so an update on any changes (or equally helpful to prevent that inevitable question - confirmation that it's the same as it was X months (or years) ago is still quite helpful IMO...
Besides, who has the time to go thorugh and search the topic of each and every post to see if and how many times it has been posted in the forum in the last 14 years and then troll them about it anyway?
